Begin with identity. Ask for the company’s full registered name in Persian, its national ID and registration number. A trading name alone can refer to more than one entity. Keep the identifiers together with the quotation or proposed contract.

Compare documents consistently. Look for differences between the name on correspondence, the invoice and the intended contracting party. Ask the counterparty to explain discrepancies rather than assuming that similar names identify the same business.

Separate recorded information from assurances. Registration details and the counterparty’s own statements answer different questions. Record where each item came from and when it was obtained. Information about a company can change over time.

Use a report to organise the available company information. Our Company Report presents existing data in English. Review the sample to understand the actual sections; bespoke enquiries and site visits are separate services.

Before committing, identify unresolved questions and decide what evidence you need for your own commercial assessment.
